-
Hope to pop down in the morning , I normaly do [-/
-
I've been thinking, If I pop-up to Rusty's then maybe carry-on to the Auto show...75 miles each way..shouldn't be a problem [-/
-
I am definitely going to this one, as not too far from me.
-
All set to be there, what time is everyone else getting there?
-
Man, I want to go as it is just a few miles away but don't have a time to sort everything out :( I didn't manage to get proper coil so I would go on two singles :) but still brakes not working, no indicators for some reason and steering ignition lock jamms all the time!!!!! Grrrr
In the worse case i will walk :D
BTW: where do we meet and what time? last year Chris got us a nice stand but I pressume this year there is no stand. Can anyone advice me please?
-
Me to,
Cheers

Working i,m afraid :(
-
TRAGEDY! I was working like a mule last days to get it ready for tomorrow and I did almost EVERYTHING including timing finaly set. Michael dropped me Easybleed so i can bleed my brakes myself and when i started I discovered ONE OF THE REAR brake lines has a hole!!!!!!! F**k it all, won't be going.... >:( >:( >:( >:(

Nice show that was, lots of cars but we need to get our act together next year ...
Great to see all you guys that were there [-/
We were chatting to a 500 guy there, interesting chat, I'm sure more will come of it.
-
Dam, Had to work any pic's off the day
-
Gilly took some pictures, some great ones of Rusty in his 500, and what a star it was, there was more interest in his 500 and Lad's 126 than alot of the fancy 500's at the show!
I think it's just because we're more approachable perhaps, and we don't drive museum pieces [-/
I'll upload them tonite.

It was a pretty good day. Was great to catch up with you guys. Finally put some faces to some of the names, and on the way back popped in to Jan`s to see his lovely 126 8).

Footnote to this listing. Just before I had to leave the show I pulled up next to Lad's 126 & all the guys were there. So more chat and a couple of Italian guys were there and were very interested in the cars. One of them runs an Italian car business in Golders Green. All very interesting as he actualy knew Camillo Alquati back in the 80's. I thought Darrell was crazy when he told me about the speeds the 595 ccs Abarth got to but this guy Mario bought it up in the chat :D
135 mph from a 595 Abarth which is faster than the new 500 Abarths. ::) ::) ::)
So Darrell is not crazy
or
is
he :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

but please remember that this is in a straight line! keeping it that way is the trick can you imagine how they must like to wander?!
