Do you have to be an exhibitor to display one's car?
-
No Just turn up but I think it is about a tenner on the gate!
-
So people just wonder around the parking area to admire the cars?
-
see here

It says you have to register it for the concours but in previous years we have turned up and parked in the display area!

There's a stand plan for each of the clubs, best bet as Fiat Forum have a large stand would be to rock up with them.
Stand plan:

What time are you guys thinking of going. I might go to this one and will park if I can with the Fiat Forum as you suggested. I am a bit anxious as my Fiat has never been driven this far. I will be coming in from junction 1 of the M1 and exit junction 19!

Unfortunately I can't make it as I'm working this weekend :(
I believe the normal plan is to meet up at Tesco Rugby so that they can organise the stand. Keep an eye on the thread I posted earlier (if you're a member on FF) but I'll add more details on here anyway as they become available if anyone else is going to tag on.

To make everyone have a nice, calm and relaxing day could all stand attendees try and meet at the local Tesco 7,45am ready to set off at 8am:
RUGBY,
1 LEICESTER ROAD,
RUGBY,
WARWICKSHIRE,
CV21 1RG
When you see ben arrive in ff bus about 7.45 its time to get in cars and be ready to watch the ff BUS and follow it out at 8pm prompt. try and organise your selves in advance of this time into models of fiats, and leave in model groups
I can't see if there are any 126's going from FF but there was a 127 Sport last year along with a couple of other classics, so park up with them. Otherwise, tag on the end of the Cinq's :)

We will be there from the start about 10am and be parking somewwhere in the middle of the display area, there is alot of overflow you don't have to park with the individual clubs the organisers are pretty easy going when it comes to where you park! We shall look out for you as out fiat is the same coulour as yours! I am sure you will will make it!
Also I drove ours from London when we bought it and it managed it with a knackered cooling system!

I very much hope the weather stays dry but there could be some overcast.

I went to the Auto Ilalia meet at Stamford Hall yesterday and it was a fun day. The Maserati, Lambo and Ferrari clubs were out in force, so were the Alfas and Fiats. Very nice venue. There were only two 126s, mine and Ciaoflyer's who I had the pleasure of meeting (wife and lovely baby as well!). We took lots of photos which we will be posting soon.
My Fiat behaved itself. I drove almost 100 miles (one way) to Stamford Hall, cruising at 65/70 mph. Cruising at these speeds meant that the fuel consumption was very high, unsurprisingly as I was actually driving close to top speed consistently were possible. I was quite impressed. The journey took about 1.45 minutes. I consumed more than two thirds of the tank. On the return journey, filled it up wth petrol, drove leisurely (60mphish) to London as it was raining. I only used less than a quarter of petrol!!
