Title: Got myself a new 126 ish
Post by: thepuddlejumper on May 31, 2010, 12:01:02 AM
Was supposed to go to the Scottish Alfa Day in my 500 Gamine with Fraser in his 126.  Saw an add for this and had to have it.  So appologies to all who turned up at St Andrews I was down Wigan way. It is based on a 126bis, the glass body is bonded on, all looks to be in good condition.  It needs an engine and gearbox but has a disc conversion on the front.  Will an aircooled fit easily?  Will need to inspect more closely, see photos

Looks like good fun! Have you got any pics of the engine bay? I would definitely go for an air cooled. 8)

Rusty it is a Cool 500 essentially it is the same as a 595 Barchetta but with opening driver, passenger doors and a slightly different rear boot space.  Had a closer look and its all very good some minor cosmetic work to the body.  I want to change the external clips and locks, hide it all so the external surface is clean.
