Hi,

I have just signed up to this Forum :)

I am on the lookout for a 126 in excellent all-round condition.  Ideally after an early-ish car with the chrome bumpers, the single-speedo dashboard and a decent, bright colour (white or red would be the top choices).  It MUST be right-hand-drive.  A later aircooled car would be considered.

I'm not looking for resto projects (been there, done that - I've just finished a 2-year rebuild on a 1978 Dolomite Sprint!), but a car that I would be able to jump in and drive straight away without any problems :)

The car is for my mother, who owned a light green 1973 example in the late '70s (WPP876M).

Does anyone have anything suitable? :)

hi howard there is a car on ebay at the moment 1987 aircooled in white its in chesterfield however has the late spec of electric start and better heating than the earlier cars not exactly early spec etc but well worth a look.

It does appear to be a minter but again its a late spec aircooled...

There's a couple of 126's on ebay at the moment.
