Title: Hello from new member , 126 bis

Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself, My name is Andrew, I`m 23 , I live in Banstead in Surrey and i just bought 1989 fiat 126bis.

The car stood for 2 years. So I`m going to put it back on the road as soon as i can.

Hi Andrew,
Welcome , it looks a good solid example.
I am using my as my daily driver and so far (touch wood) i have covered 2000 miles with no problems !

Small update, The car was refreshed , breakes overhauled, tinted the windows , replaced all rubber hosed , new thermostat, new fluids, wipers etc. I took my old bbs style vauxhall wheels and blasted them and then resprayed them myself. Then i ordered italian flag winyl wrap and wrapped the roof.

Car went through MOT without advisories no comments at all :)

Still to come, new interior trim (bronze leather) and frond disc conversion (got the plates , have to get some calipers and discs and overhaul them)

ooh, what a gorgeous example! hey, what will you be doing with its original interior/wheels? i'd be Very interested in buying them, from you - if you'd wish to part with them  :D

Hello!! The alloys with thick wheels and the roof job have enhanced the look of the car, amazing!!! I look forward to your future modifications!! I am tempted to tint mine. Keep the photos coming!!

I dont want to reanimate a dead topic , i sold this 126 in Dec 2010. Now few chapters in life further bought new one :)

Its 126 With Webasto roof , In slightly worse condition , will be fully resprayed in 268A ( Bossa Nova), I already bought 13in BMW E21 Alpina wheels, and just fully serviced the car , now start and drives. I got new headlights , mirrors and few other bits. Now preparing bodywork for paint.

Will drop few photos soon.
