My girlfriend is absolutely in love with the 126 and has always wanted one since she lived in Eastern Europe 5 years ago. I'm thinking of buying her one as a present.
Is anyone on here selling one, or know of someone selling?
I'm based in Sunderland but will happily travel to pick up.

There's plenty around at the moment, but they do seem to be getting more and more expensive. Would you be looking for an aircooled or the watercooled BIS?

Good question...and in short I would have to say that I have no idea! What are the differences?
There are a few on ebay at the minute, ranging from anything between £500 and £2000. Other than that, I've only managed to find one other reasonably priced one for £1250, but its in the Isle of Mann, which I think might just be a little bit to far to pick up.
Are there any sites that you'd recommend I visit that might have more for sale?

I think that you would be pretty hard pressed to find any site in the UK that would have more hints , tips & leads on possible cars and many of the guys on here will post details of cars for sale in/on other media . I would guess that your girlfriend would have been used to the aircooled models [-/

Agree with what Rusty says, your gf is probably most familiar with the Aircooled. If I was in the position to buy now, I'd be looking at the white one on ebay which has recently had a respray, but I would be getting a fair chunk knocked off the price as £2k is excessive!
