Hi all

does anyone know (rusty) if a 1985-1995 panda caliper would fit the sei/cinq ?

Not quite sure what you are asking here Steve but I can tell you that the Panda & Cinquecento callipers are not interchangeable . The hole centres on the Panda carriers are about 4.5cms wider. I have some refurbished carriers here plus some brand new callipers etc that I bought in the early days of my experimentation befor I settled on the Cinque ones as the best option.

Yes those callipers are now selling for silly prices especially as many of them are new as opposed to refurbished. You would of course need the carriers etc to make use of them. They also fit a whole load of now classic Fiats which is great news for the owners. Same old story , supply & demand and I guess that this will happen to the Cinque callipers over the next few years  [-/

Just wanted to add that i used 08 model punto calipers and had no issues at all using Rustys adaptor plates. I havent run the car yet but there are no clearance issues lock to lock. I actually wont be running the leaf spring on this car as i'm going IFS and this may cause clearance probs with the caliper fouling the lower control arm on lock, but thats what you get with one off mods.

I havent seen a cinque caliper at all, but the punto caliper i have is an ABS unit and its quite big and there are no clearance issues.
