Should have made more,much more.
It is amazing what difference LHD makes to prices in the UK.

It is fair enough - auction is auction. One thing is sure - not really happy with this price. And for this season I will be using Beetle again. They never loose value, especialy nicely done.
Somehow I always get manage to loose some money on a 126 :) :) :) :)
Thats life - hope new owner will be happy and join the club shortly.

Hello! Do you have another 126 project in the pipeline which you will eventually keep or sell? Your orange Fiat was a masterpiece. I do not seem to remember seeing the new owners joining the club.

They were nice people and I have instructed them to do so. But I think they bought it to use in summer days in area and they will not come here - not a kind of nuts like we are.
And yes - I do have something. Pictures to follow this weekend :D

I can't wait to see your next project. Presume you will be importing one (mint 126) from Poland.
I was approached by two Polish guys in a motor bike who was admiring my 126 whilst I was in my local Halfords. I mentioned to them about my desire to possibly import a "Happy ending" 126p. He said that the post 1993 126s were not as good quality wise compared to the 1992 and prior year 126s. They said that there was little or no oversight/involvement from Fiat post 1993 as the 126 was replaced by the Cinquecento. Post 1993 126s, her said were subject to cost cutting and poor quality control. Interesting............

Yes, it is from Poland and might not be MINT 100% but has only two small rust spots and it's fully original...except very interesting and nice looking wheels :)
And it is 1978 edition in very unusual colour....
