Has anyone fitted siecento sporting seats in a 126 and if yes how easy/hard is it ?
cheers
Steve

I think Bardy tried them, but if I remember they are too tall.
-
ok , i have the chance of some abarth ones from an 02 plate seicento, thought they might look ok, with the rear trimmed to match .

I would be inclined to carry out a bit of a survey before you write off the idea as there seem to be quite a number of cars with high back rally type seats fitted.
ps your auction bits are in the post [-/

Will do that , i can trial fit them and if too big i,m not going to lose anything .
thanks dave .

How tall are you?
-
Im a short arse, 5-7 ...lol

Might be ok, I've got Sei seats in mine and it's a bit tight for me  6foot2 here
-
i tryed them but the catch that lifed them up so you could get in back door was hitting the door(without door cars) so we riped em up nd put more foam in origanl seats and fitted the springs from the back of the cinq seats on the back of the BIS seats

It's a bugger!
Lost the little pockets on the doors, and had to remove the original seat runners, then bolted them in spacing the side closest to the door up a bit.
It's not very successful, I'm thinking or replacing the runners and going for original frames with some bucket seats like you see on the 500 websites.
Like I have said before, I've spent some money on this little sodding bug and then have to spend more! :P

I did notice that the 126fan guys are doing new seat rails for 3.6 euros [-/

I think i,m going to leave it , the Abarth ones are even wider i think than standard siecento sporting seats .
i,m gonna look at welding the subframes off the 126 onto the Arbath seats, but think the seat is just to wide .
