hi can anybody help me out im trying to lower my 126 but dont kno where to get some lowering springs from or whether the cinquecento springs are the same as the fiat as i can find lowering springs for them. thanks tris

i cant be certain but i would say no as if they were it would be common knowledge on this forum if you wish to lower the rear then just cut 1 coil off the originals it works well enough and costs nothing.

Who told you that ??? There must be loads of cars in the UK alone that have cut down springs although after some experimentation I found that removing about three quarters of a coil gave a good result [-/

my car has never failed its mot and is taken to a non friendly garage who like prodding and poking around and use a double inspection method (that being two pedantic old gits ). if you find they sit loose then wire them in.
