Title: Widest tire on 13x5.5 wheels?

I was wondering what is the widest tiresI can install on a set of 13x5.5 wheels, I was thinking 175/50/13 or is that too wide. I also want to know where I wil be able to get some centercaps for my wheels, the wheels are made by MOMOand are 13x5.5

I can't help with the tyre issue. But if you know the diameter across the center hole. Ebay can be your friend there.

The biggest tyre you can fit without a problem is 165x55x13 :)

What would be the issues if I install 175/50/13 tires, I don't plan on lowering the car. Will this size rub in the wheel well

Although 175x50x13 are 7mm less in diameter than 165x55x13 the wider section will tend to rub on the inner wing on full lock, plus the rolling resistance will make the car slower, The wider footprint takes more energy to rotate the wheel.

I fitted 175s but I had to roll the arches change the camber and clearence the inner arches... But it's do-able.

Hi what is the biggest tyre size on the front is 165/55/13 thanks baz :)
