Would it have to be RHD?

Hi, Personally I dont really mind however due to insurance it would have to be a RHD.

I don`t think it makes much difference to your insurance if it`s LHD or RHD. If you get it on a classic car policy it should be cheap anyway. We got three cars on for around £130 and two of them are LHD.
 Good luck with your search.

Most classic car insurance companies wont insure me due to age restrictions. My insurance company doesnt seem to quote LHD's probably because they are imports (not uk standard)

all cars are imports nowadays  ;)

try calling them not just on-line, if 1 company says no try the next, plenty of competition out there.

I have tried quite a few but due to my age they wont insure me, so the best bet is a RHD 126

I think i,m correct when i say if you put a 2nd driver on it will bring the price down, when i put my wife on my insurance it came down £100 , dont ask me why but i have done it a couple of times now .

I just insured the wife on here own car was £250, put me on allthough i have my own insurance plus a traders policy and it dropped to £217.

So it might be worth puttin mum or dad on as a NAMED driver not the main driver and see what
happens .

Good luck

Steve

Tell us what happens, I would guess that it would lower it a bit.
Also does anyone have or know of a good 126 for sale with mot and not rusty, I have seen a few online, some are a bit worse for wear and some sellers don't reply!!!

bloody lovely i agree! Im not sure if it will be within my budget though
I will pm you regarding it.
I have been checking online and there does not seem to be any decent ones for sale, most i have found are projects or need some sort of big repair doing which I havent got time for unfortunately as I really want to be driving as soon as possible lol :D
