Hi all
I'm finally in a position were I have the time and the help to get me a 126
I've been after one for years havng grown up with 'bombers' (as we called them) its the perfect car for me
I'm looking at a budget of £500 ish and as early a model as possible, the otherhalf is a mechanic and want a project whilst he does up an old defender
Thanks in advance :D

Righto
My heart is set on giving a 126 a good home, i will be wanting to drive it regularly rather than look at it and i'm really looking forward to learning...
I've been doing a lot more reading and discussed this with t'other half
We've decided £1-1.5k is a better idea also a BIS may be more pratical for my requirements
You guys are experts compared to me, i'm looking on ebay and on general car websites, if you guys don't mind if i find a good example i'd like to ask peoples opinions regarding value for money, work to be done etc
Thanks again Rosie

Rosie
£500 is a good budget for a healthy project, 1-1.5 k should get you a very nice running - finished project especialy if you don't want the air cooled model.
