Lots of experiance with Auto Rossa, hes just up the road from me. The owners a nice guy, very dry but a decent bloke. He absolutely hates the BIS though, was at Fiat when it came out and remembers ALL the warranty issues. He wont touch them now.

I had the opportunity of buying a 126 Bis when it was still being sold but I was dissuaded by a friend that worked in our local Fiat dealer. Anyway, now that I own one, I checked my car's service history. The car had a lot of niggling problems from new, so it had to be sent back to the dealer for e.g. adjusting door alignment, replacement of windshield rubber seal due to leaking, speedo cable lubrication and other small bits and pieces - all repaired under warranty. The biggest warranty claim was the replacement of the headgasket after just two years and a new fuel pump (incl gasket) in under five years (described in the reciept as paid for by Fiat - ex-gratia). Amazing how a relatively new car can have so much warranty claims. Many more parts were replaced out of warranty.
