Post by: bis13 on July 05, 2009, 06:05:55 PM
well i had a delve around in my troublesome engine and fixed what damage i had found and took it out for a test drive and 75mph seems ok it actually picks up better now than before so i shall have to go out and buy a replacement cam so it only makes sense to buy a sports cam now  ;) [-/

I just bought me a polish cam, but still haven't got the time to change it. There's a little selection for the 126:

I've choosen no.3, because this fits to the modifications of my engine:
385 - dodatkowe uwagi
W celu wykorzystania w pełni możliwości sportowego wałka rozrządu "385" zaleca się następujące dodatkowe przeróbki silnika:
   - splanowanie gÅ‚owicy 2mm
   - zamontowanie tÅ‚umika o mniejszych oporach przepÅ‚ywu np. typu WUPEX
   - zmniejszenie masy koÅ‚a zamachowego o 25-45 %
   - zmniejszenie oporów przepÅ‚ywu w przewodach ssÄ…cych i wydechowych
   - stosowanie paliwa LO 98
   - przefrezowanie kÄ…towe caÅ‚ego waÅ‚ka w celu uzyskania najkorzystniejszych czasów otwarcia zaworów

385 - additional comments
In order to fully exploit the opportunities for sports roller timing "385" recommends the following additional processing engine:
    - Designed head 2mm
    - Fitting of a silencer with a smaller flow resistance such as type WUPEX
    - Reducing the weight of the flywheel 25-45%
    - Reducing the flow resistance in exhaust pipes and muffler
    - The use of fuel LO 98
    - Angle przefrezowanie entire roller in order to obtain the most favourable time of the opening of the valves
