Title: using a gokart engine?!
Post by: mic on July 01, 2009, 01:57:57 PM
I realise this probably isn't the best idea but cmon... The geared gokarts can really shift! Has anyone tried using one before?! Chain driven, same engine/drive/gearbox etc as a gokart :D

not trying  to be negative but I would think if you are going to the exspense of fitting a chain driven geared engine you might as well just put a bike engine in?

plus go carts have solid back axles dont they? I would think it would be a very harsh ride?

i thought about using a monster tractor lump mated to a boat gearbox with a space shuttle hyperdrive but realised i would have trouble finding the depleated uranium to fuel it .
