Hey,
Axel Gerstl has a 5th gear kit for sale, but it's CRAZY expensive..
is there a cheaper place to get one from? or has anyone got a used kit or a whole used 5 speed box?
I'd like to do more long distance driving, but holding the car at 100km/h revs it high enough to take a fair bash at the car's reliability.
Also fuel consumption would be amazing if there was another gear.

Get yourself a pair of bigger tires! [-/
1.) Fuel saving :P
2.) Hot-Rod-looking ;D

lol I went out of my way to get original sized tires.. and oversize ones only change it marginally. I actually think bigger tires look silly, they look out of proportion.. maybe if I had 13" rims, but I like to keep things looking original.

Actually i have 145/70-12 front and 155/70-12 rear, both on 4.50" Borrani. But i plan to build a pair of 5.50" Borranis for the rearaxle, to use 165/70-12 tires. I shot four 5.50"-rings on eBay. I'm gonna use two of them to weld them on Borrani-centers. Therefore i need a bad pair of Borranis, wich is going to become difficult...
