NOW SOLD
I'm reluctantly selling my 126 due to my mid life crisis spiraling out of control and leading to the sudden purchase of a Alfa Romeo 147 (Hey, at least it's Italian).
I bought the 126 almost exactly a year ago and have spent far to much money on it (don't tell my fiancee!).
The good points - It's left hand drive. 12 months MOT, 6 months tax. Four new tyres. A new battery with 3 year guarantee. New sports exhaust, the chrome on the tailpipe is poor quality and going rusty, it doesn't effect the performance. Sports air filter (in original housing). Mountney steering wheel with OMP hornpush. RHD headlamps, replaced the LHD ones in the picture. Replaced the original dynamo with an alternator. inertia reel seatbelts from a cinqecento. Original Polish high back sports seats with matching back seats. Comes with the original service book and purchase receipt (in polish) from 1978.
The bad points - It's left hand drive. A few rust spots here and there, non of them serious, 3 aerosol tins of professionally colour matched paint included in the sale. leaks a little oil (it is 31 years old). The brakes aren't fantastic (it's a 126), passed the MOT easily but only work well on the road if you pump them. No bumpers, but it looks cool without them.
I'm looking for an offer in the region of £550.
If you want any more info or to make an offer please phone or e-mail.
NOW SOLD
I know I won't get back the money I have spent, all I hope is that whoever buys it has as much fun looking after it as I have.
