Lol, there needs to be a tear in the space-time continuum so that all we need do is drive to our local Tesco/Asda/Morrisons etc and suddenly we're all at the same place. ;)

There is a similar thread on FiatForum at the moment, but I don't think many 500/126 owners are on there. Personally for me anywhere south of Carlisle is too far, unless I have somewhere to stay overnight ... which means plenty of notice so I can get a room booked somwhere :)

The question has also been raised about whether we keep it classic or bring the new 500 on board as well? Personally I'd prefer keeping it classic but it depends how big we'd like this to be

Just got a reply from Billing

The price of Â£20.00 is for the pitch which includes upto 4 people but if you can guarantee 10 or more tents we will do a discount for you, where we would put you is the events field this has no electric and no shower block there could possibly be more tents but you would be the majority on there if you choose this option we could do the discount at Â£15.00 per tent per night.

If you didn't want that option the only other will be to join all the other campers on the other fields and as before if there is still 10 or more the discount we would offer would be Â£18.00 per tent per night.

Today I got this letter. From Billing.

This is the ignition xtreme weekend which shall be occupying majority of the camp site so what I would suggest is joining another group on the events field which would be Â£20 per night per tent (max 4 persons per pitch)- Alternately if you want to be down with the Max Power crowd the price would be Â£55 per 2 night stay for 2 adults as it will include the marquee entertainment etc

Please advise where you wish to book at your earliest convenience

Personally I would rather be away from the 'boy racer' meet, I will go and visit but not sure if 2 days of non stop music is really what I had in mind.

How many are coming 100%, as I really need to save us places, asap

Sorry to seem so stroppy but, this reminds me of another camping trip that was arranged then nobody would give 100% yes or no a few weeks before.

Alas my clutch has suddenly decided not to play ball :(

My wife is in Poland for the next 2 days do any of you need and small parts (she is already bringing me headlights, rear lights, indicators, bonnet seal, boot rubbers,and few other bits so space is getting tight) I can then bring along to Billing.

check the bolts on the linkage mine where loose and I had the same problem...

At peak time last friday the traffic report said the queing traffic was backed up from junction 19 back to junction 9 :cry:

The Max power cruise was impressive, but the feeble entries were no match for the 126 entries with both getting prizes of cleaning products. Max power 'Bolloc**'

Flying octopus, Some old kids bike, A 2CV, A Polish bloke nicking carp, A irrigation engineer too drunk to drive his own car in the cruse, An civil servent sleeping out in his pants (well nearly) a snoring Yorkshirman, and a couple of winging kids, what more could you want.

Nice to so many turn up, if you missed it you missed out on a great laugh. Looking forward to the next one.

Apart from that, the Joymuns are really cool. In fact, my wife's cousin married a relative of Manfred Von Richthofen.....how cool is that?

(drunk driving, fighting etc....) if i find the vid I will post it up!
