Hi i'm dan,

currently driving a seicento but have the urge for a fiat 126.

I find having a tiny car really funny, i am 6ft 6in and it looks really daft.

How much should i be paying for a car in decent condition?

thx

DAN

Hi there Dan, good to have you with us!!! well i drive a 2002 seicento SX and a 126. Im not as tall as you though!! I think the seicento is amazingly spacious for its size, i would say im 5,11/6ft i even use my seicento to do car boot sales. Fiat really know how to utilise little space they have.

guys will Dan have a problem driving the 126?? i've heard of 6.6ft blokes learning to drive in there 500.

Firstly Dan i dont know if your aware that there are two models of 126's both almost identical really, in the way of handling speed, one is an aircooled which was the original one and the later, late 87 - 92 water called BIS. the BIS goes for less than the aircooled, some say its much less reliable, i can vouch for that. Also you cant beat the sound of an aircooled. Have you looked on ebay?? they can go for anything from ?100 without an MOT to ?3,000 for an original 70's one.

kind regards

Chris

Hello there Dan,hows it goin,if you really want a 126 go for the best you can afford and go for one that dos'nt need any body work.Secondly did you know that the two guys who designed the Maclaren F1 both drive FIAT 500's and Gordon Murray is 6'4" and he can drive his even with the seat not fully back :D
