WANTED Weather reports around the world. ;D
Its cold, raining, with sleet and snow at the moment. This is what it was like Last week :)

I was in Blackburn last Wednesday, Coming over the tops from Yorkshire it was white at both sides of the roads :D

Well twas sunny in Rijeka yesterday. Now as i was coming home from the night shift (by bus :( ) the sky opened up, and it started pouring... i mean seriously... check this pic from the other day... its the city center, just by the sea, usualy ships are by the parking, but the rain raised the sea to this level, they could have been on it... talk about global warming...

Well, I have had torrential rain all weekend.
I was setting off to my parents house 100 miles away in East Sussex and my Dad warned me that loads of roads were flooded around their way, so suggested that I should come in my Skoda Fabia VRS, not 'that old car'. Anyway I ignored that and set out in 'Bubble' my Bis. Sure enough there were big floods in the villages around East Grinstead, and everyone round there seems to drive a Range Rover or similar and went through the floods at great speed and absolutely showered me and Bubble while we were trying to get through. Luckily there were no problems other than a few flickering warning lights and a squealing belt.
All in all a 200 mile round rip on M1, M25 and M23 and Bubble coped very well apart from when I tried to overtake a lorry at Junction 8 of M25 and it got steeper and it took me about 3 miles to complete the overtaking.

well as usual its hot here, sometimes sunny sometimes cloudy but always hot.....usually rains in the afternoon...but the rains warm...... :D

and its raining here, boring, cold, dangerous rain... not to mention that i can hear my car rusting a few meters away :D

Everything came to a standstill last week, we've not had as much snow in years :o At this moment its -3c and freezing, Roll on summer :D

I would like to put some photos on, but have to learn how to re size images first. It was about a foot of snow here last week-Kent and Surrey border... :)

Not quite a 126, but here is mine of the same family
Needless to say a few second later that snow was brushed off and the sideways action began, for a thoroughly good day off work!

Photo taken this morning. Around 10cm of snow. So exciting. Can`t wait to take the 126 out later on. Just need a bag of sand in the boot **-

Snow on my drive is a minimum of 150mms / 6 inches. I dug a path to get to my wife's 4wd Fiat Panda Cross . Went around the block a couple of times & the snow was scraping on the underside of the car. Then went down the long and at the end very steep hill which is the only way out of here. Very scary with the car just sliding on down the hill at times. But made it to the main road ::)
Snow comes in handy sometimes, hoping to send some pics to Pete as I am useless at posting them [-/

It was a stunningly clear day here in Cornwall. A little crisp under foot but no complaints at all!
Forecast has some snow here for tomorrow though, so Cornwall being Cornwall, the place will grind to a stand-still.

Here we go again , yes Mick that hill is a bit of a mare which is why the guy who lives on the other side of the main road at the tee junction at the bottom installed a large RSJ in his substantial front wall. About 2 inches of snow now fallen over compacted ice on the back roads and it is still comming down. The Fiat Panda Cross has been working overtime & thanks Pete for putting up the pics, limited beer range though :oops:
Anybody else noticed the strange driving styles that some people adopt in these conditions ?

Icy roads here.
Last week a car went past me on the motorway and picked something up which shattered my windscreen :(
They have to have one made as there are no 126 windscreens in the country according to autoglass. Insurance paying so not too bothered, it's not in my view.
My big mounting bolt broke the other day, with spectacular noises as a result.
I had a tie-down strap in the boot, tied the engine up to the boot latch and got home :P
On inpection of the bolt, it looks like it had a floor in it.
Battery seems to be pretty useless. It was 'new' last month, think halfrauds have had it on the shelf too long...
Other than that, a 4x4 was stuck on the hill going up away from my house with all 4 wheels spinning...and the fiat 126 drove past him with no bother at all. The trick i recon is tyre pressures and not bieng a plank and letting the wheels start slipping. I run my tyres a little lower pressure in this weather :oops:
Just praying the time spent underneath with underseal is going to pay dividends [-/

Sadly two ladies died and four more were seriously injured last night less than ten miles from here. A bus overturned after hitting sheet ice. I think it made the main news, but it is all over the news down here. Aparently a police car hit the coach on the same ice whilst attending the accident!

Beleive it or not it's now 21°C in Zagreb, Croatia in this time of year... This was Christmas without snow... How sad, last night i was in t-shirt outside - in december!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

A usual hot weather down here I'm afraid, today is going to be 34°C, tomorrow 40°C. You spend the whole time running from shadow to shadow or spend the whole day inside in the air conditioining.

I have to agree with prkahrvat on the weather that's this way. It snowed for a whole day (forgot to take photos :() then went down to -25 in some places and now it's +10 to 20 degrees. The day before yesterday we had rain and thunderstorms/lightning :o something that is unusual at this time of year...

I went up & down our very steep hill in my wifes Fiat Panda Cross 3 times this morning before 7am to test out the surface , no problem. Decided to nip to the shops at 9am in my little Seat Arosa & got to the brow of the steepest part to be confronted by a scene of carnage compounded by vehicles being parked or abandoned in the most stupid places. I managed to pull into the kerb just before a woman in a Vectra came past me sideways, she then got straight & went down the slope like an olympic sledge and shot straight across the main road at the bottom , lucky there was a break in the traffic :oops:
I entertained the onlookers by managing to reverse about 100 yards back up the hill, by effectively "burning" through the ice & snow, I had steam coming from the spinning tyres but at one stage the car was sliding downhill even though the wheels were spinning in reverse ::)

it would wunt it nd well at least al be good in snowy conditions lol nd well at least u didnt get smashed into i would like an arosa i think it would be a little col car as my second car cs we got a seat alambra so we want o mae it 2 seats t myt cum to 3 fiats if we get my mum to get a fiat panda

Well out where i live it got down to minus 26 , dam cold , and the snow was six feet deep in places on my farm , thankfully my Jeep managed to plough its way through it all...They don,t bother to grit the roads around here , they just bulldoze the worst off , then you drive on the ice that remains...The picture was taken in Moscow , when i went over to vist my girlfriend there it was minus 37..! now thats cold...!
The snow in Poland is at last starting to melt , and its above zero....
