Just a quick note to say hi, new to the site and im looking for a fiat 126, iv actually seen one on ebay for £200 just wondered if it was any ones on here? Any way also wanted to know what the things to look out for when buying these cars? Iv just restored a Mini GT which started out as an absolute rust bucket and really dont fancy going through all that again!

Look for rust then rust again. Anything else is easy.

Sills go, inner wings, front under the spare wheeel is normal, bottom of the windscreen drivers side and same with back window, bottoms of the doors and the floor.

Decide if you want a watercooled or a real one  :D

Oh no the Bis v aircooled war starts again :D  :D

:x my bisss isss a real 126  :evil:  :evil:

lol, just kiddin  :lol:

as dajwid said watch out for rust, there are still good ones out there so i see no point in buying a rust-bucket...

if youre going watercooled, watch out for the dreaded headgasket failures...

welcome, and good luck...  :smt006

Basically, there's a male & a female in most species.

Likewise, in 126 terms: Aircooled= Male
                                Bis        = Female

One cannot survive without the other (Fnarr, fnarr)
