Hi, I wonder if anybody could tell me if these alloys fit:
http://www.minisport.com/acatalog/info_WTP5X12KIT2.html
I think there a pretty good price with the tyres included.
Cheers.

should fit they will be 4x100 bolt pattern so you would need wobble bolts to install them...
-
Cheers stuey, I take it the supplied 165/60R12 tyres would be ok?
So would it just be a case of getting a set of wobbly bolts, the wheels & they'd go straight on you reckon?
thanks.

should do but remember a BIS has 13's from the factory not 12" wheels. (depends what you car you have)
-
Very good looking wheels. Definetly sporty, not that 'rice burner' style. But that much ? I know for 4 wheels, but it costs the same as another 126 :) Though when it comes to cars, some of us don't look at the cost. It's got sentimental value.

I really like revolutions. Check ebay though because there are quite a lot around. Good price for a set of brand new wheels with tyres though!

Would like some mini wheels for my car in the future.
What's a wobble bolt?
-
its a special bolt which allows you fit wheels which are not the same PCD (bolt spacing) as the car you are fitting them to, the mini has a PCD of 101mm the fiat wheels are 98mm (I will be honest I thought Mini where 100mm not 101 so you need to check with the people you buy the wobble bolts that they will take up 3mm of difference.)
-
I'm not sure the wobble bolts will take up 3mm, they will convert 4x98 (Fiat) to 4x100 (VW plus others) without any problems but 3mm may be too far.
-
Another thing to remember is make sure the centre bore is 58mm so it sits on the centre of the hub, as the wobble nuts will not centralize the alloy wheel.
-
I had those wheels on my mini, they're lovely wheels!

Shameless plug, but I have just put my set of Cosmic 12" Alloys (very rare fiat 4x98 fit) up on the "For Sale" section of the site. http://club126uk.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3414.0
I understood that the Mini PCD was 101.8. The advice I had from a friend of mine who runs a large tyre and wheel supplier was that this is too larger difference for the wobbly bolts to be safe, they use them for fitting VW 4x100 pcd wheels onto Fiat 4x98 hubs ( a difference of 2mm rather than almost 4mm with the mini rims).
Also in most parts of Europe they are banned as they are believed to be dangerous – not that I agree with that as long as they are used within the tolerances that they are designed for (this needs checking before use).
I am replacing my Cosmics with Revolutions, but have been watching ebay for a couple of years for a pair of 6 inch for the front, since I bought a pair of 7 inch rears (1284cc and with a bit of luck over 110 bhp), I finally found a pair before Christmas.
