hey looks cool, make sure you clean your engine with petrol, i did mine and the shining aluminum is really B E A U T I F U L L :))
p.s. does your bis leak oil? just curious...
-
no its doesnt seem to, just loads of oil over the tappet cover and engine. when i took the cover off there were no washers to stop the oil coming out the bolt holes so i think thats where it was coming from. where does yours leak from?
-
Ooo, cool, how many miles does your have? (Or km?) (mine has 92000, but it could be 192000 although i doubt it...)
Mine is leaking from the rear bearing, the bellhousing is always soaked... :???:
so i have to pour some oil in every 2 months or so...

Oh and could you do me a favour, could you snap a few pics of your carb, just wonering if you guys got the same one as we... thx

can anyone guess the locations of my rusty holes?
and will that last picture of the clamp on the leafspring pass an mot?
i am going to restore the body soon as i get my garage clear and get all the kit to do it, i already have a compressor and a spray gun waiting.
-
you can make yourself a new clip to clamp the leafspring its very easy
-
Ah, yes those rust holes are a familiar sight on a Fiat 126 :) If the clamp won't disintegrate as you clean it, then i reckon a bit of paint will get it through the mot...
