Hello all,
I'm nearly new to the forum - I successfully repaired a gearbox with the help of some of the members here (thanks again, fellas) before this introduction.
I recently bought a 126 for the wife, a bargain at £250.00 but with a gearbox problem (see above). Apart from that, there's not much wrong at all for a car nearly 20 years old. The little Fiat has turned out to be a lot easier to work on than my previous project, a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro (hence the user name).
MOT is tomorrow, and after that I am removing all the plastic work and going for the smooth look of an air-cooled model. Chrome bumpers and all!
Here's a picture of her now :

Watch this space!

Simon

Hi Stuey
Actually, all the holes are welded already. My intro was a little misleading but I already removed all the plastic work and welded the side skirt holes a while back. Thing is, now the MOT is due I completely forgot about the lack of rear fog light and number plate light. I've therefore stuck the bumpers back on for the MOT and I'll be doing a proper job afterwards.
More pics to follow!
