What kind of speed do you all find comforable cruising at on the motorway?  Is the BIS any better or worse than an aircooled?

My aircooled will cruise all day at 65 if you want but I find 60 better, its a bit quieter!! The Bis will cruise faster and quieter....but..... sometimes you wont get where you are going

Don't Silverstone do it? I think they do bikes and cars.

when i get time i will have to look into that! Would be great fun! Might have to do a smaller track than that, so we get it all to our selves!

I live near Cadwell Park (about 5 miles away)
It's a cracking circuit, but probably a bit too undulating (up and down)

I hear it is quite reasonable to hire the track for the day.

I will look out their website. The owners are Motorsport Vision

I think it would be great, everyone would want to turn up as its a great oppotunity, and depending on the price it will be on the club or a seriously reduced prize for each individual.

If we had the track for the day, we could tunr it into our major event! as not amny people have been able to turn up to recent events hosted by others. Mainly due to my own fault for not giving enough notice! Although its been quite strenuous to keep everything running smoothly! the first newsletter is almost ready and i can tell you it has some great stories in it. This race day would be a really great oppotunity! we can get some speed tests and handling tests and hopefully a decent race!

Milky are you a member? i remember you username? im just trying to work out your name so i can look up where you live and thus where the track is!

http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/cadwell-park/

This is the website for Cadwell Park.

It looks like they do open track days for cars, which I have been to watch before.

Not sure if we could get the whole track solely for the club.

I will email them and ask the question.

It would certainly be one of the more interesting requests they will receive: A bunch of Fiat 126 drivers wanting to hire a racetrack  :P
