Just popped out for 5 mins and got a little carried away.
This means the work has begun on my new toy.

I now take my hat off to all of you. How do you do this in the UK?
I was really spoilt in Poland, just up the road I had 3 shops stocking everything for the 126. Need a bit pop out and get it.
As I take off bits I make a note to get a new one. Sent of my 1st order, but now need to wait weeks for delivery :???: What do you do while you are waiting? write the next list I suppose :lol:

Had a go at rust worm hole this evening.
Bit of plate and it has gone :-)

Have sourced some chrome bumbers and mounts :-)

My shopping list Ordered

front and rear indicators complete.
Wiper arms and blades, (they are searching for Chrome)
Fuel pump (and spacer as is missing)
rubber seal for around bonnet and clips.
Rubbers for boot
engine mount rubbers and spring
Gasket set full
Full set of cables
Heater hoses rubber
Distributer 'dizzy' complete (my rotor arm is missing)
Rocker cover (as want to have it powder coated or chromed)

Now I can only do bodywork while I wait for the postman :-)

Not much done this evening, just sorted out the holes from debadging the front and sorted the rusty patch uround the front screen (you know where they all rust).

More work this weekend, some of the parts arrived. Half the tin-work stripped and painted (mat black)

Now I found rust hiding under the old plastic bumpers :-( Another job on the list.

Still can't fire her up, still waiting to get the spacer between pump and engine, the work goes on :)

Cromodoras arrived, Spending too much so rubber will have to wait :-(

Went out side to look at the newly found rust that was lurking under the plastic bumper.

Big bag of mixed plastic clips arrived from Polska so I will play with them :)

Got the rest of the tinwork stripped and resprayed.
Modified the carb spacer, new ones never seem to fit straight from the shop :-(

Today the 600 modded head arrived :D

Waiting to get myself a second engine before I even start playing. Winter project (time to make space in shed).

Got an engine from a 500 so now time to order all the parts for the quick engine. Not that I know what I am doing but I suppose thats the best way to learn.
All tinwork is now ready to put back on, carb has been stripped and rebuilt 'refuse to pay £25 for a new carb' (tight git).
The 500 engine had a fuel pump spacer on it so no more parts needed to get it running (I don't think).
Engine looks like like new, Engine bay is nearly like new but want to get the wiring hidden somewhere, any ideas?
Waiting for a new 'Elephants trunk' hose to come, ordered an aluminium one, plenty spare if you want any :-)
Now time to sort out the boot :-(

Oh! I can see fuel pump spacer straigh from Poland!

BTW I got stopped on the airport by the security for carrying cylinder head in my suitcase   :lol:
