The squashed exhaust tip really bugs me, does anyone know why it is like this?
I think im gonna cut it off. anyone else done the same? It will increase the power to weight ratio if nothing else!!!!
-
Just a guess it could be a venturi? which increases velocity of the exhaust gases. and may even improve the performance?
-
someone suggested it aids back pressure ? i dont know but if it bothers you that much dont look at it!!
-
as far as i'm aware its done to make the the exhaust a little quieter like the old morgans fish tails
-
if you remove it, they sound less putt putt!! personally Id leave it as it is.
-
why do the BIS's not have their tail's crimped too?
-
because theres other bits on them to laugh at!!

What, Like a big cloud of steam! :smt081

the bigger hole is to let all that steam out  if it were a smaller hole you might get some forward motion though with steam power
