Is anybody going to the Uxbridge classic car show next Sunday?

Hi there and welcome to the forum, yes we have a few of us going as a club so far. We have to turn up as a late entry club, as the places are full, i spoke to the organiser & he said it shouldnt be a problem if we get there nice and early!

No I dont have a 126, I have the 500 Giannini 650NP replica in Ickenham that we talked about a couple of weeks ago.
A chap from the Fiat club phoned me to ask if I was interested in putting my car on their stand, apparently they have space for loads of cars and he asked me if I knew anybody else with a Fiat who might be interested, if you want I can email you his phone number, I dont want to post it up on the forum.

Hi there!!! its good to see you on here thnks for joining the forum, i often admire your 500 as i pass by.
I have spoken to the carshow organiser he said he dindt have any stands left for booking, and said turn up on the day and get the late comers stand.
It would be great if you could email me his number! So we can have our cars in a section rather than relying on luck, so thankyou i will give him a call asap and see what he thinks.

Hi all ive been making calls for the best part of the evening now, the fiat Gb club said, there are no free spaces for us to team up with them!! Nevermind, we'll stick to our orginal plan, which is turninhg up bring and early to gte our own late entry spaces!! If we ride into the show together (i.e. meet outside the gate) we can all be together.

Hi Gary, the show is on the 17th it starts at 10 and finishes at 5, im getting there really early to ensure we get the late entry stands, becuas ei live 5 mins away, i will try to reserve you all a space when i get there, even if i have to pay, so please let me know if you will definatly be there!
please make sure you all get there well before 10 the earlier the better, i will post an adequate time to get there for after i have spoken to the organiser again to confim there isnt any stand cancelations.

Chris, I dont mind getting there very early to ensure we all be together. Did the organiser mention a good time? So looking forward to getting some 126s together at last. There hasnt been a UK turnout of more than 5 since 1998!! We must take pics and send them to all the car mags too :D

Barry if you could get there nice and early tht would be great, the earlier we get there the better chance of being altogether.
I will ring the organiser again tonight, to see if there has een any cancelations and find out more about it and i'll work out the best time to get there, I have mobile numbers of some who are going, eventualy i will give my number to everyone whos going!

Chris will try my best to get the 126 mot'ed by sunday,if not will drive up to the show in my camper and see you all there.

Hi Gary, it would be great to have you there!!!! We need as many as possible to make the event really good, but if you cant make it, you will find your more than welcome to come in your camper, always good to have a chat!! Will be fun!

If we could meet here, at 8:00 - 8:30 that would be great, if you get there any later just head into the show, and try to look for us!, we can have a quick chat and wait for everyone to arrive then move to the correct entry gate from here.
Gatting way is off Park road, which is a dual carriageway and has recently been turned into 40 mile an hour. Just before Gatting way, you will see Middlesex cricket club on your left and across the dual carriageway a large common. There is also a scouts hut inside Gatting way on which faces onto the dual carriageway.
At the bottom of Gatting way there is car park where a disused open-air pool is. You can actually walk through there and into the show entrance. Although we'll meet at the top end of Gatting way, (closest to dual carriage way) its only a small road with a few hosues.
If anybody doesn't understand my terrible directions please give me a call on my mobile, but it really is easy to find.

Did my best to get the 126 ready but have still got some welding to do for the mot it only failed on the welding which i knew it would need and a rear wheel bearing,washers and no effort from the offside rear handbrake so not to bad. I am going to try my best to get up there tomorrow and have a chat and meet you all but if i don't i hope you all have a great day.
