Hi, My name is Robbie, I hail from Totnes in South Devon and I'm a relatively new 126 Bis owner, I've had mine for about a year now. I was given one by a friend who has 4 126's, and after many many lunch-hours spent tinkering, I now have a slightly tatty but much loved little car!
After re-building the gearbox twice, I have now fitted a replacement from another mates rolled Bis and I am now having some really good fun! I'll post some photos on the site as soon as I can, and you'll see that I still have a fair way to go on the cosmetic front, but mechanically it's kind of o.k.
The cars only differences from standard are a set of Fiat X/19 alloys (fitted with 155's) and I've de-bumpered the little beast, which I think is a great improvement (looks more like an air-cooled!). Any hints and tips for trouble free ownership would be greatly welcomed, and I hope that I can chat to, or meet up with some of you other mildly eccentric guys and gals in the not too distant future...!? Cheers for now, Robbie. :D

hi, a local member... maybe see you at the uxbridge show!!!

Thanks for the welcome notes Chris and fiatfsm, just managed to post a photo of my car in the garage section! Had to borrow a mates phone to take it as all the photos I have are too hi-res, and even my phone is too high-res!
I need some ideas for a paint colour, I was thinking all satin black but I notice that Bis13 has that one pegged already!

Hi there,
this is a good tool to put in your bookmarks
http://www.picresize.com/
-
Cheers for that Dave, a very handy little utility indeed! :)

Free and works well if your in a internet cafe and you just wont to resize something quick..Iv used when away form home on Holiday.
Photobucket.com is also very good as you can resize when you are up-loading your photos if you are running low on space on your cards
