here this will cheer you up. broke me wifes car.... broke me own car .... and bought dajwids car and broke that as well..... all in all a good weekends work . oh and also my bis is broken . ho hum , but at least i have my sanity!!!!!!!!!!!
wifes car gear/ driveshaft ?
mine changed head and it now wont start. changed coil , points , condensor, ht leads, plugs . checked valve clearances 3 times. had enough i might just pull the engine out and do what i have planned with engine and car.
polski fiat left hooker non starter , clutch problem plus starter agro , will look at it tommorow and cry....
bis i give it a kick every now and then to make me feel better...

no 2,have you tried a tow start? or slave a good battery in? and checked for juice?

LOL, maybe you should try Novas Mick, no-one will mind you kicking those! BTW, it is in fact perfectly OK to kick a BIS :lol:

it gets worse... i looked at car this morning and had a weak intermitant spark , then it stopped altogether , it seems that the dizzy is not being turned removed rocker cover and the valves are not openning or closing .
pulled out dizzy and as engine turned over could see that cam shaft is not turning but crankshaft is. so at this point i shall retire this car and get on with sorting the engine/car properly .

yeah when i turned over the engine it sounded like the gear is rubbing on the chain links ( do you know what i mean, sound wise?), well now its gonna get "JUICED!!!" ha ha ha . ps i have 2 turbos....
