Hey, im the extremely proud owner of a 1991 126 bis.
As im only 16, this is gonna be my first car (officially) although i have already owned a fiat panda 4x4 and a fiesta...they were just projects.
My 126 is white, with only 25,000 and i love it to death. As soon as i saw it on ebay i wanted it, and i was lucky that she was on the island too. :P
As you can guess - im new to the 126 scene so any advice would be a life-saver! and to be quite honest...i dont think i have seen another 126 other than mine in years  ....so just like you lot - i want to keep her in pristene condition. Im glad to be a part of this club! :D

funnily enough ive seen this BIS when i was on the island back in the summer, i left a note on the car saying about the club, not long after it was on ebay! I was over there in my BIS (no 1st gear though the hills were a bit of a problem!
welcome to the club
regards
Chris

silly buggers sold it to buy a matiz

haha a Matiz, but if i remember correctly there was a childs car seat in the back, so we'll let them off! :D
my brother in laws parents live on the island, (everyone knows someone who does)
i'd love to do a rally over there, so this summer i'll get the ferry over. will b good. I've saod it for last couple of years, but now we got a contact on the island with a 126! it makes life easier!

a meet on the IOW would be brilliant. there was/is a guy over there with a 126 who once asked me if there were any local meets he could attend. At the time the FMC were about to hold one in the New Forest, about 10 miles from Lymington, where the ferry docks. He said that was too far!
Anyway, a meet over there could be fun. There are plenty of campsites or places that rent out chalets too. A reasonable campsite is at Kitehill near to Ryde, cheap!

i have family on the island so i am up for it
-
In the meeting forum i posted more information (but not much)
i think theres a contact number for the organisers :D
but i'll keep you all updated! (its usually august/september)

 welcome "none-of-your-bis-iness" !
Perhaps I'll see you end of august 2007 for the "Isle of Wight Scooter Rally" !
here I am in 2004 at IOW in Ryde in front of the KingLud Pub !
