hello there , i have a regretful sale of my fiat 500l (1972 tax exempt) car .. tha i have been gradually restoring for a number of months now ..

the car is for sale as follows :
full log book v5 in my name
various new panels throughout
all the welding done
car sits in grey primer at the moment
i will supply the 2k ferrari red paint to finish her off in the future
all new brake lines/pipes/cylinders replaced
a massive amount of spares including
4 maybe more RHD lights with lenses
spare wiring loom etc etc
2 x fiat 500 engines on with a gearbox
1 x 650 cc fiat 126 engine ( with another spare in peices)
6 or 7 maybe more fiat 500 wheels and tires
3 or 4 boxes of spares aquired over the years brakes, carbs, etc etc
2 full sets of glass mostly with rubbers
various workshop manuals / paperwork etc etc
basically anything and everything ive aquired for my little 500 over the past year or so .
very sorry to see my little 500 go ..
circumstances beyond my control have brought this around .

nothing to do with your latest sale rich :wink: ,but chris,thats a horrible pic you have under your posts.the death of a 126.......check out the angle of the front wheels as it hits the ground................they used to destroy dodge chargers the same way in dukes of hazzard.............i would think the spring mounts and suspension would be ripped off/pushed back into the body shell...................i cant bear to look!!! :cry:

haha yer i noticed those front wheels, good way to add camber!
I saw a programme a while back they just trash those dukes of hazard cars at their rallies by doing jumps off ramps. Still looks good, and they are two a penny in America. :lol: unlike the 126!

Richard yer you got to get the listing spot on, really makes a difference,
wrong time of year too i think, nobody can be boteherd when xmas is coming up

Too many rebuilt cars around at the moment for the 2000 mark. Most buyers want a car to drive away. A car in bits always scares people away.
Personally I would rather buy a crap drive away than a partly finished project.
Not having a dig, just my view for what it is worth. My freind was after a 500 got a tidy one for 1500, needs a bit of work bit as he said 'he knows it is all there'.
I really hope you get a buyer, Are you really sure you can't get it finished?

hello there, im selling the car as i seem to be finding excuses not to finish ot myself .. and being winter and all and not having a garage i would rather sell now than keep it over the winter and all the good work ive done deterirate over the winter .
only a few small jobs needs doing .. its a runner and everything .

well he got a bargain there ...
im sure he knows a shiny paintjob can hide alot of nasty stuff underneath ..
my cars all there , had recent new panels and is waxoyled throughout and has a massive amount of old and new spares for the car or to sell on ?

maybe if you just put the car together it would sell, but I suppose it means finishing it.

and the reason why im selling is because i am finding excuses not todo the jobs needed to finish her
and with the winter coming and not having a garage i would rather sell now , than all my good work goto waste ..
also you comment on the paint job ????????

hello there, ive had some interest . but not what i wished and hoped for ?
this is a genuine RHD car with extensive parts/ spares with a vast majority of the expensive job done ..
ie : the welding with new panels etc etc amoungst other jobs done .. full progress can be seen online on 3 websites from day i brought the car .. and the amount of spares thats included in the sale ..
as you all know if does need finishing off, something wish i wish i could do after owning it for so long , but i just keep finding other jobs todo .. and with the winter coming up , ive nowhere to store it and i wouldnt want my good work going to waste
YOU COULD BUY A NICE SHINY CAR FROM EBAY FOR 2000 TO 3000 .. AND AFTER A FEW POKES AND PRODS AND MAYBE MONTHS THE HIDDEN NASTYS COULD SURFACE .. IE TIN WORM ETC ETC ..
least with mine you can see whats been done ??? im hiding nothing ..
and with the mountain of spares thats included you could finish car off, and sell other parts ?? some to include spare RHD lights , windscreens with rubber , door glass. wheels and tires , engines etc etc list goes on
needless to say i have now relisted it on ebay to start on friday at 815pm november 3rd ..... after its just been on ebay and finished at 7am in the morning on thursday and attracted very few bidders ..
so i am hoping more people will be around to bid this time ..
ive put a come and get me buy it on it of £2200 .. but if somebody wants to make me a offer i will gladly think about it seriously ..
this is my third or forth fiat 500 as well so i know whats what .. and whats it worth and at the end of the day i will be doing the buyer a favor by selling her them , rather than the otherway round , so please dont message me and offer me silly amounts like £500 ?? as this has been done before ..

id love some help .. but sadly as is always the case people are too busy themselves or have projects of there own
