Title: Sports exhaust on my 600cc causing engine to get too hot?
Post by: Chris Lakin on September 21, 2006, 04:24:50 PM
Im worrie dmy engine might be over heating, i have just fitted a sports exhaust to my 600cc engine, and the engine feel incredibly hot. Am i just worrying again! or could the exhaust be causing the extra heat? It is quite warm where i am today.

Alot of smoke was coming out of the engine, but i think this was just the wd40 i used to loosen the bolts.

please put my mind at ease

regards

Chris

p.s the car looks and sounds great with the sports exhaust!

yer youre right dave, i'm an auto-chondriac,

thats what my brother tells me anyway, i think it stems from a few years ago, when i didnt bleed up the water system in the bis, which caused the head gasket to go again only 2 days after replacing  it,

thanks mate
