Title: Sports exhaust on an early 126

can i swap a sports exhaust off my 650 late fsm (87') and put it on my 76 italian built aircooled? are they the same?

reckon so chris,as usual tho,be carefull with the mounts,any stress will show itself as cracks very quickly,make sure its a relaxed fit,take the opertunity to copper slip all the bolts as well,i take all out,elbow to head as well and treat them to copper slip,leave all slack and only tighten when all installed.

another tip,go to your local exhaust fitters,get them to sell you the proper exhaust paste in a sealent type tube,gun type?...this is far superior to the halfords stuff,and smear a little on your flanges/gaskets............. :wink:
