im working on the engine on my bench at the mo, i believe the main bearing oil seal may have gone, but its more probable it was just a gearbox oil seal, loads of oil in the bell housing and plenty behind the flywheel. I have removed the bearing and i will replace the oil seal before i put the new clutch and gearbox in. ( i dont want another contaminated clutch.
