Title: Seating Rear suspension spring

Hello
I am replacing rear springs.
Is there a position the bottom end of spring should sit in the frame?
Also the manual mentions insulators yet from all the drawings, pictures I have seen & indeed on the spring removed there only appears to be a top one.
I am a complete novice & any advice would me much appreciated.

I would be interested to see the answer on the fitting position at the bottom.

There are two insulators on the Bis, not sure if the air cooled is the same?

I ended up rotating until it sat evenly but no clear locking of bottom end of spring.
I will take a picture when i do other side.
