Title: Help needed Glasgow Area
Post by: Pete126 on September 04, 2021, 02:48:06 PM
Got this message today if you can help it would be much appreciated:
Hi there, I wonder if any one could help, make suggestions, or offer any guidance. My wee dad still has our wee 126fiat deville in his garage. It’s still in reasonable condition but the wee beut hasn’t moved from the garage or been turned over in about 25years when we just all got newer cars. It still worked well then but unsure it would work now. How can I get it out the garage, does anyone have suggestions about what to do with it, If there are restorers in Glasgow that’d take it. Thank you.

Pictures would be interesting, surely it will just push out of the garage, if not it should do once the brakes have been freed up. My advice would be to recommission it mechanically and then enjoy it for a bit before deciding whether to posh up the bodywork.  They are a lot more fun in their unrestored state, once you spend too much money on them they become a constant worry bead!
