Title: Spring like metal found in sump

Anybody have any idea where these tiny springs (maybe 2mm diameter) have appeared from , found in the bottom of my sump (air-cooled 650) pre rebuild.

At only 2mm diameter, I would guess that's a spring from inside a crankshaft oil seal.
