Title: 126 bis Strange noise coming from the engine

It's a metallic sound, a bit like turning metal on a lathe without oil !!!!  :o

I can ear it above 2000 rpm.
The engine run perfect.
It's not gearbox or clutch related.
It's not the pulley but it seems to be coming from this area.

Any idea ? Thanks

Well case solved. It's a leak at the front manifold Weld. The crack has an hair size line but a leak sure enough. I had plenty of manifolds leaks in the past, but never with this kind of metallic sound.
