That really was a lot of work.

lol thats amazing! i love the bonet, looks like a porsche!
like chris said i can never see where these people get the time and money... a decent spray job is well over a grand how do they do it?
-
here in Poland a spray job is only 100 quid on a 126, Spare parts are so cheap and easy to find, 126's are really cheap too, 126 tuning parts are available over the counter in most towns. A full body kit, skirts spoilers front/rear bumper is about 25 quid.
Polish body shops spent years rebuilding old crash damaged cars from Germany and now with poland in the eU secondhand western cars are cheap they have time on their hands 1 hours work by a mechanic in a garage is about a fiver.
Thats why they make their 126s shine :D

Thats strange, I would say 99% of 126s I have seen in Poland look like sh*ite  !!! Rust, faded paint, dents, scrapes and lots of dirt. Honestly the only nice ones I have seen are the pics on the net, even a Happy End I saw in Wroclaw which was only a couple of years old at the time was rusting out and obviously unloved... unlike my 126 :D ! The only immaculate one I saw was new in a showroom. Went into a shop in Jelenia Gora which sold 126 parts only, at first the woman tried throwing us out shouting auto... fiat... maluch!!! I said yes thats it maluch and pointed to stuff I wanted but she was still really rude, cool country though!

from the pictures of polish 126's ive seen i think what they have don to them are amazing, but im not keen on the boy racer ones, just the nice shiny polish ones.
