Hi all,
I was thinking of trying a shifter restoration, it would look great if it looked like a proper classic
I need to know what size knob to get in regards thread size and fitment
I've also heard the ELX model shifter swivels, but is there any way to help it as a shifter with numbers on would be much preferred
Also are there any recommended companies to buy from?
These look classy and I've heard they're a reputable company, but I don't know if they stock ones in baby Fiat 126 size!

Thank you for all the help, and hopefully this can help future 126 owners with their shifters in the future
All my best

I think a standard 500 one would fit. I can't remember if the thread size on the elx is different. I know it has an improved gear selector to stop it spinning round and round ;D.

I have some vintage resin ones with a Fiat logo but they are not threaded. I can send you some photos if you are interested.

Just an update,
I found this thread on the Fiat Forum which might be of use, if the 126 has the same size and threading as the 500 like 1973/126 said

It says the threading is "8mm metric fine ( 1.25 )"
I hope this helps
