Hi,
I have converted my front brakes to discs and am stuck as to the best route for the flexible brake hose. Does anyone have any pictures of their conversions that they could send me. I am nearly at MOT stage and want to make sure that it passes first time.
Many thanks
Phill

I don't have any pictures but I actually used the original ones with the banjo fixing (I'm assuming your using the tried and tested seicento/cinqucento/punto calipers) all you need to make sure is that the banjo end of the hose is pointing in such a way that it doesn't tug when it's on both left and right hand lock. If it does start to pull on it just simply slacken the banjo nut move the hose a bit then lock it up again and see what it's like again. Top tip have you thought about braided hoses? Not only do they look cool but there are also a tad longer :thumbup

Hi, I have used sciento hoses so they are a bit longer. I am not that mechanically minded and a complete beginner when it comes to tinkering with cars. Learning lots along the way though.

I tried seicento ones too but found the hose would scrunch up on lock hence why I stuck with the original ones.
The 126 is a great car to learn on - they are so mechanically simple it's unbelievable so you've picked the right car :thumbup
