Hi
I was fitting my new ignition switch today, then found that the indicator switch unit is broken inside so the bit with the switches isn't attached to the clamp bit anymore. :(
The switch has 3 connector blocks, all with 4 contacts- does this mean any 126 switch unit with the same number of contacts will fit (and work)?
Thanks for any advice you guys can give a newbie!

Short answer is yes!
Presumably yours is an early car (round-ish instrument binnacle and single speed wipers) with connections as per the photo below? If so, the Club may still have some brand new switches available and if not I still have a couple...

Hi midvillesb
Yes, it is an early one- thread here- http://club126uk.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10879.0 (http://club126uk.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=10879.0)
Those are the same sort of connectors that mine has. Please let me know about the switches you have. :)

That's a great project you've got going on there!

I must admit I'd forgotten that I still had a few left - I haven't sold one since 2013...
