Hi
I am Stephen and I am from Lancaster in NW England.
Today, in the pouring rain, my Fiat 126 finally arrived from France. Here is a photo of it ready to roll off the trailer. It is one of the rarer sunroof models.

It will need a lot of work at the front end- sills, door pillars, wings and front panel- those are things that I can't sort out for quite a while, so for now I will be giving it a good clean and putting rust killer on all the rust.
It is missing a few vital bits and bobs- ignition lock and horn push button being 2 things I noticed, as well as some minor items like the big plastic headlight covers, jack and battery.
In the next week or so I will give the engine a good check- clean out the oil filter housing, fit new spark plugs and HT leads, check the valve and points gaps. I was thinking of sorting out the brakes too, as they are not working. Then, with a new battery, I might see if it actually starts and drives...
I am not sure if I should attack the filler in the sills with a hammer and chisel as it is probably holding the front end together!
