Mine, believe it or not, is one of those house removal dolly things that Pickfors use to move furniture. It's the only thing that seems to make moving my out of car engine around light work. £12.99 from Wilkinsons. :D

Mine has to be an engine brace I made from an old gate post and some scrap metal. It means I can now hold remove the rear panel really quickly without having to mess around with a jack to hold the engine up plus it remains in the same place so lining up the bolt hole for the mount isn't a problem either :thumbup

A crankshaft locking tool - a piece of scrap metal, a pipe, drilling machine and a balcony railing to stick it in and bend it - priceless ;D

Hi Gadge,
I noticed your twin exhaust. Where did you get it?
Apologies, for going on a tangent re topic.

It was from a company from Italy can't remember the name though - something like gianni - It's actually for a giardiniera so it's not a direct fit. You need to modify one corner and squash the centre down a bit oh and make new brackets but it sounds great when you blip the throttle :D you'll need to either remove or modify the bumper if you are to fit this to a BIS with plastic bumpers

Not so much a gadget but i welded a captive nut to the underside of my rear engine mount so I dont have to get a tool to it to bolt the engine back in just makes life a little easier.
