Title: Electronic ignition Bis

Hi All
Just about had it with the points and condensor/capacitor system,so I`ve brought one of the
Accuspark units.
Whats the best ways to wire the unit up and timing without a strobe timing light

I cheated and i had 2 dizzy's so fitted one with the electronic bits and then as i removed the old dizzy from the car, i then replaced it with the new one getting it lined up the same as the one i removed.

I then used a timing light to get it spot on after that though.
I can also check the wires tomorrow and let you know as i cant remember off hand  :lol:

I ditched the stupid c**py zellmot distributor in favour of a marelli one and it's been great :D

Cheers Dave, Just stripped out the points on my spare unit too so hopefully i`m going down the same route as what you`ve done
On my coil pack I`ve two wires a light blue on the left and black on the right,I`m I right on thinking the blue is the ignition +

Sorry mate, with work today i forgot to check before it went dark but i can check tomorrow if i remember lol.

I cant think of hand but this picture is what it says in the manual :)
