Title: Lowering a bis

Wanting to lower my bis but don't want to go mad, about 20-30mm maybe. Most stuff seems to be for air cooled so what's the best stuff for the bis? There's a lowered medium leaf Spring on eBay has any one used that one.

Lowering spring on the front  and chop the rear springs job done! If you are unsure on the springs most of the ones on eBay are sold by a seller called sunriserpht he is a member on here - I would message him and he should be able to advise you on which one you would need.

Will cutting the springs be ok on mot's and what not ?

It's ok as long as they don't fall out when you jack it up or you can wire them In if you are going super low- you can buy them off the shelf ready if you don't want to cut them.

Iv not found any lowering springs off the shelf do you have a link to some ?

 Here is a link. Most 500-126 suppliers do a lowering kit of some sort. Or just check eBay Italy.

 Ideally you want to use shorter shocks as well, but it will work just as Stuey suggested.
 One thing you got to watch, is the rear shocks on the Bis are different to the AC cars.

What will be the difference btween a 5 leaf and 6 leaf reverse eye leaf Spring ?
