Hi
Well it`s been a busy day and now i`ve afew issues
Firstly I need to change the drive shaft boots :( so is it possible to remove the complete shaft so I can clean them down
so as to not twat the new oil seals when refitting the new boots
Second issue I`ve changed the gearbox mounts with new, and the gear box selector joint :)and the gear selection is now rather stiff now :$
Any Ideas please

Yes and No
Yes they can be removed but it is a gearbox out job and involves messing about with the crownwheel so I would suggest cleaning them up in situ and sliding new seals on as they aren't tight
Second issue I`ve changed the gearbox mounts with new, and the gear box selector joint :)and the gear selection is now rather stiff now
Could just be a simple adjustment required
On the drivers side of the centre tunnel below the gear lever there are two 8mm bolts 13mm spanner size try slackening these off and moving them either slightly forward or backwards then tighten up and try , you might have to do this a couple of times till you are happy with the gear change
I had the same problem and it is surprising what a difference a slight adjustment makes
