Hey!

I don't think you'll get any (or if you do few) negative comments, I'm 17 and just passed and although I haven't got mine ready for the road quite yet, I've only had positive comments :)

Ignore any negative comments, as you'll be the last one laughing when fuel prices go up and you can still afford to drive, insurance is very cheap (I'm assuming you're also 17??) and your car will only go up in value :D

Hi and  Welcome.

I think this car was on Ebay (in Essex area)

It is a special edition silver model. YOu won't have any bad comments in fact you will be suprised these cars are real 'head turners'.

Whether you drive a nice new car, or an old Classic, you will always find some jealous person willing to say something bad to make them feel better. Ignore them, i have a modern sports car but I've been like a kid at xmas trying to get my 126 through the MOT, and i can't wait to drive her!  ;)

these cars are crap we all know this however we all have love of this fact, people will laugh at your silly car and you will be the butt of many jokes however by owning this car you already displayed the ability to laugh at yourself after all no normal person would own such a ridiculous car.... enjoy the 126 its all fun except for the breakdowns (well they are fun too ....).

thank you for everyones comments, they are so nice,
its lovely to have support,

i have chosen to keep the car as original as i can, no matter how much my dad wants to spray Jeff (the cars name) green, i think just because there isnt many of his colour i should keep him as he is, although i am tempted by chrome bumpers, i dont know if they would suit the colour though? i dont know at the moment im just want him running properly.

and trust me i already know about brake downs. first day out in him went the wrong way and ended up over the humber bridge, half way across the car starts to fill with smoke had to pull over on the moterway, and run, turns out my fanbelt has disapeared lol , thank god my dad came and got me and jeff.  although a nice lorry truck came and helped me and my friends as it was raining and we were stood on the grass with only summer dresses on.
